FLASHCARD SET · AGES 4–5 YEARS

Life Skills & Good Habits flashcards.

Twenty-eight everyday skills, one card each: wash your hands, use gentle hands, wait your turn, wear your seat belt. Show the card, say the words together, then practise the real thing — that is the whole method, and it works.

THE CARDS

Every card in the set.

Each card has its own page: the picture and short, practical notes for grown-ups — what it is for, how to use it, how to print it. Tap any card to open it.

HOW TO USE THESE CARDS

Four ways that work.

You do not need a plan or a printer schedule. Pick one idea, try it for two minutes and see what happens.

  1. 01

Show the card, name the skill

Hold the card where your child can see the picture and read the big words aloud. One skill per card — point to what the child in the picture is doing, then let your child say the skill name back to you.

  2. 02

    Say the words together

Every card page has a "Say it together" line — a short script in parent words. Say it naturally, then let your child try. The words on the card become the words of your real day.

  3. 03

    Practise the real thing

The card is the rehearsal; the sink, the shoe rack and the car seat are the show. Each card page has a "Try this" idea for practising the skill in real life the same day.

  4. 04

One skill per week is plenty

Pick the skill your family needs most — mornings? manners? the car seat? — and let that one card live on the fridge for a week. Twenty-eight cards is a whole school year of good habits.

PRINT & DOWNLOAD

Print the set, download a card.

Every card page has its own download button with the full-size image. This set is printed straight from its class page.
