Doctor Visit flashcards.
A whole check-up, one calm card at a time. A teddy bear comes along on every step: the appointment, the waiting room, the doctor’s hello, the stethoscope’s listen, the deep breath — and the proud walk home. The cards run in visit order on purpose: the gentle steps first, and the two big ones (the x-ray, the hospital bed) arrive late, when your child already knows the story. Nothing at a check-up is a punishment, and medicine is only taken from a grown-up.
Every card in the set.
Each card has its own page, and every card shows its age pill — start with the group that fits your child today.
The visit starts before the doctor ever says hello: the appointment, the reception desk, the name tag and the waiting room. Say what happens next, so nothing is a surprise.
The doctor and the nurse say hello first — and the scale and the exam bed are just things to stand on and sit on, not things to worry about.
The listening, the looking and the checking: stethoscope, thermometer, ear, mouth, eyes, one big breath — and the camera that takes a picture inside.

Four ways that work.
You do not need a plan or a printer schedule. Pick one idea, try it for two minutes and see what happens.
- 01
Play doctor at home
Let your child be the doctor and check their teddy with a toy stethoscope — ears, tummy, one deep breath. The child in the doctor’s seat is the child who stops worrying about the real one.
- 02
Tell the visit in order
Lay the cards out like a story: appointment first, goodbye last. Before a real appointment, walk the story once — "first we wait, then the doctor listens, then we go home." Knowing the order is the whole comfort.
- 03
The medicine rule, said kindly
Spread the cards and ask which one is the medicine. Then say the rule together, every time: medicine comes from a grown-up, only from a grown-up. The card says it too — same words, same rule.
- 04
Pack the teddy
Real check-ups go better with a familiar friend. Use the cards to "pack" for the visit — the teddy, the name-tag answer, the deep breath — and let your child carry the bag.
