Chipmunk Flashcard for Toddlers
The chipmunk — a squirrel striped for speed, cheeks stuffed with seeds. It is the busiest packer in the garden, and the cheek-pouches are the detail toddlers remember forever.
What this card plants
Shows the striped speed-gatherer with pockets full of lunch.
Meet one for real
Parks and woodland edges are best — listen for scolding from low branches.
What kids learn from it
Feeds early ideas about storing, collecting and planning ahead.
How to print it
Two copies print well — matching the stripes is half the fun.
Grown-up tip
Follow the cheeks — wherever they go, a stash is near.
