Mole Flashcard for Toddlers
The mole — almost blind, brilliant at tunnels, and rarely seen above ground. Most toddlers know moles from the molehills that appear on lawns like little volcanoes overnight.
What this card plants
Introduces the underground tunneller almost nobody ever actually sees.
Meet one for real
Hunt for molehills on park grass — proof somebody is busy below.
What kids learn from it
Sparks curiosity about hidden lives and what hills can reveal.
How to print it
Card stock, then hole-punch and ring it into a field pack.
Grown-up tip
A real molehill is treasure — mark it, check again next week.
