Tram, Trolleybus, Rickshaw & Cable Car Flashcard for Preschoolers
Ages 4–5Land
Four city movers that do not steer themselves: the tram and the trolleybus drink power from wires overhead, the rickshaw weaves through busy streets and the cable car climbs on a rope.

Say it together
“Tram! Trolleybus! Rickshaw! Cable car! The tram rides on rails in the road, the trolleybus holds a stick up to the wire, the rickshaw carries people through the bazaar, and the cable car flies up the mountain on a rope!”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Watch the wires: which of these four follows a line you can SEE? Tram rails, trolley wires, cable ropes — the city’s tracks are hiding in plain sight. Then the hometown question: which of these have you seen here? Which one would you ride first?
Quick parent note
This card teaches "guided vehicles" — machines that follow a path someone built. It is also the card with the rickshaw, which families in Pakistan and across South Asia know intimately: a three-wheeler with a roof and a horn.
