Hospital Bed Flashcard for Preschoolers
Ages 4–5After the visit
A hospital bed is a special bed that can go up and down with buttons — made so someone resting can be comfortable while they heal.

Say it together
“Hospital bed! A cozy bed helps you rest. It goes UP with a button — and down! Teddy tried it. If ever someone needs it, the bed is there.”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Up-and-down is the magic: a recliner chair or a stack of pillows can "be" a hospital bed for teddy. Buttons and pillows — that is the whole wonder.
Quick parent note
Most check-up days never see this bed at all — it belongs here so it stays ordinary. "A cozy bed that helps you rest" is the whole idea a child needs.
