Goodbye Flashcard for Preschoolers
Ages 3+After the visit
The goodbye is waving to the doctor at the door — the visit is finished, the next appointment is already an ordinary thing to look forward to.

Say it together
“Goodbye! The visit is finished. Wave to the doctor — "bye-bye, see you next time!" And home you go, hand in hand.”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Have the toys say goodbye after every teddy check-up — "bye-bye, Doctor!" Practiced goodbyes are easy goodbyes.
Quick parent note
A calm goodbye tells the child the story is complete. When the last card of the visit is a wave, the whole visit reads like a circle that closes gently.
