Moth Flashcard for Toddlers
The moth — the butterfly's night-shift cousin, with soft wings and a love of lamps. Moths are the proof that the garden has a night crew, and toddlers never see it coming.
What this card is for
Introduces the pale evening flier that bumbles at windows after dark.
On the next walk
Walk at dusk and look for pale wings looping round lamps.
What it teaches
Opens the idea that gardens keep working after bedtime.
Print it like this
Pale colours fade in sun — print a spare for the sill.
Tip for today
Whisper near the lamp — moths spook easily, so does the mood.
