Baseball Flashcard for Preschoolers
Bat, ball and four white bases in a big green diamond — baseball is hit the ball, run the loop, come home.

Say it together
“Baseball is hitting the ball with a bat — CRACK! — then running around the bases all the way back home. Safe!”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Balance a soft ball on a stool or a tee, swing a plastic bat or a rolled sock, and run your own diamond of cushions. Then trade turns: one pitches gently, one catches with the big glove. Hit, run, catch — the whole sport in a corridor.
Quick parent note
Off a tee is how every hitter starts, big leagues included — the swing is the skill, and the tee lets little hands meet the ball instead of chasing it.
