Lacrosse Flashcard for Preschoolers
A stick with a net pocket at the end — lacrosse is the old, fast game of catching the ball in the stick and carrying it like a nest.

Say it together
“Lacrosse sticks have a little net basket! We scoop the ball up, hold it in the net, and run — then throw it to a friend.”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
A small net bag, a scooper or even a large spoon: scoop a soft ball off the floor, jog a lap without dropping it, then toss it into a bucket. Scooping off the ground is a genuine catching skill — from below.
Quick parent note
Lacrosse flips catching upside-down: the net catches from underneath. Children who struggle with hand-catches often shine here — the stick does the catching while the eyes learn to track.
