Parent reviews.
A different thing from the quick faces above: a star rating for the grown-ups, plus an optional line about how it went. Every review is read by the school office before it appears.

Why this adventure helps.
This activity trains before and after right on the story picture: your child reads (or hears you read) one short instruction, then draws, circles and connects straight on the illustration. There is nothing to be right or wrong at — the retelling happens naturally while they draw, and saving the finished picture is the proud ending.
Illustration note: Printed art quirk we fixed in play: the best "after the picnic" answer (washing the dishes) sits in the Before row of the illustration. The game and worksheet use that picture for the after question so the story logic stays right.
Prefer paper? The Turtle’s Story Timeline worksheet prints the same story with room to retell and draw — and a grown-up answer line. Printing never marks anything complete.
