Globe Flashcard for Preschoolers
Ages 3+Classroom object
The little world on its stand — the globe is the Earth itself, small enough to spin, and it answers the biggest early question: where are we?

Say it together
“Globe! The whole world, tiny! Here is the water — so blue. Here is the land — so green. Spin it slowly… round and round, just like the Earth does. Where are we? Right here!”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Spin the globe (or the map on a screen), stop it with a finger, and name whatever is under it — ocean, land, ice. Then find your own home and put a sticker on it. One sticker, one place, one very proud child.
Quick parent note
A globe makes "the world" a real thing a child can turn — big ideas need small models. Spinning it also quietly teaches that the world turns, which is exactly the kind of fact four-year-olds love to repeat.
