Be Kind Flashcard for Preschoolers
Ages 3+Good habit
A boy helping a friend up from the floor — being kind is the classroom rule behind every other one, and it is mostly small moves: a hand, a seat, a gentle word.

Say it together
“Be kind! A helping hand, a friendly word, a gentle touch. Someone fell? Help them up. Someone is sad? Sit close. Kind hands, kind words — that is how friends are made.”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Catch kindness in the act: whenever your child helps, shares or comforts, name it out loud — "that was kind!" Kindness that gets noticed gets repeated. One caught moment a day is plenty.
Quick parent note
Children learn kindness by watching it done to them, so the grown-up’s kind voice is the real lesson. Naming kind acts tells a child exactly which of their moves earned the smile.
