Share Flashcard for Preschoolers
Ages 3+Good habit
Two children reading one book together — sharing is turning "mine" into "ours," and it is much easier to learn with a timer and a fair plan than with a lecture.

Say it together
“Share! One book, two friends. You hold it first… my turn to turn the page… now your turn! Taking turns IS sharing. Look how far one book goes.”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Share something real: one colouring page with two crayons, one puzzle, one book with two laps. Say the turn out loud — "your page, my page" — and swap on a count of ten. Fair, short, repeat.
Quick parent note
Turn-taking is sharing with visible fairness, and young children need the turns to actually come. Playing together on purpose — one toy, both children — builds the habit better than any reminder.
