Say Please Flashcard for Preschoolers
Ages 3+Good habit
A boy making a polite request — "please" is the small word at the start of every friendly ask, and it works its magic everywhere from snack time to story time.

Say it together
“Say please! "Can I have a snack… PLEASE?" There is the magic word! When you say please, asking sounds kind — and kind asks are the ones that get a yes.”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Play the polite-request game at pretend shops and tea parties, where every order needs a please to be served. Then catch it for real: a genuine "please" at the table gets warm praise and, nearly always, the snack.
Quick parent note
Please is easiest to teach at snack time and hardest to remember when a child is desperate — which is exactly when to stay calm and model it. The word sticks with practice, not pressure.
