Say Thank You Flashcard for Preschoolers
Ages 3+Good habit
A boy with his hand on his heart, smiling — "thank you" is the word that tells a giver their gift landed, and children love how good it feels to say.

Say it together
“Say thank you! Someone gave you a crayon? "Thank you!" Grandma brought a story? "Thank you!" Hand on your heart, big smile — thank you makes the giver happy too.”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Make thank-you the end of every exchange for one day: snack, help, a passed ball — each one gets its thank you. Then at bedtime, remember together: who did we thank today? Two remembered thank-yous is a lovely day.
Quick parent note
Gratitude grows from noticing, and noticing is a habit you can practise out loud. A child who says thank you daily is learning to see the effort of other people — quietly, one snack at a time.
