Bandage Flashcard for Preschoolers
Ages 3+After the visit
A bandage is the little soft sticker that covers a small cut — it keeps the spot clean while the body does its quiet healing.

Say it together
“Bandage! It helps a small cut heal. Clean it, stick it on — see? The bandage is the band-aid’s job, and your body does the rest.”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Bandage a teddy’s scraped paw, then let your child wear one "just because." A bandage worn proudly stops being a sign something went wrong.
Quick parent note
The bandage is comfort as much as medicine. One on the teddy and one on the child is a perfectly sized first-aid kit for a three-year-old.
