Eye Chart Flashcard for Preschoolers
Ages 3+The check-up
The eye chart is the poster with letters and pictures on the wall — your child points the right way to show how well the eyes see.

Say it together
“Eye chart! We read letters and pictures with our eyes. Which way does the E point? You show it with your hands!”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Make a home eye chart: a heart, a star, a cup drawn on paper — "which way is the heart pointing?" Pointing games are vision checks in disguise.
Quick parent note
Most three-year-olds cannot name letters but can point — the pictures on the chart exist exactly for them. Practice pointing left, right, up, down and the game is won.
