Nurse Flashcard for Preschoolers
Ages 3+Meeting the helpers
The nurse is the helper who takes care of the small things — the height check, the questions, the gentle reassurance — before the doctor arrives.

Say it together
“Nurse! A nurse helps care for you. She knows all about bandages and kind words, and she shows the doctor how you are doing.”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Play nurse with the teddy hospital: the nurse takes teddy’s temperature, wraps his paw, and says "all better." Swap roles halfway through.
Quick parent note
Many children meet the nurse first — that first friendly face sets the tone. Giving the nurse a name at home ("Nurse Anna") makes the real one easier to greet.
