Mixing Bowl Flashcard for Preschoolers
Ages 3+Safe to use
The big cream bowl with the green stripe — the mixing bowl is where the batter lives, and it is the natural throne of every little helper: everything worth stirring happens in here.

Say it together
“Mixing bowl! The big, big bowl. The flour goes in… the milk goes in… all in the mixing bowl. Now we stir! The bowl holds everything — no spills!”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Set up the bowl on a damp cloth (it will not slide), and let your child be the pourer: cups of flour in, spoons of sugar in, cracks on the rim — the bowl catches everything. Naming it "the mixing bowl" gives the job an address, and jobs with addresses get done happily.
Quick parent note
A big bowl is safety equipment in disguise: wide walls catch spills, hold steady on the counter and give small arms room to stir big. The bowl also teaches the before-and-after of cooking — empty, then full — which is the first recipe a child ever reads.
