Volleyball Flashcard for Preschoolers
A light ball and a high net — volleyball is a game of not letting the ball touch the ground, played by a team that talks in bumps and sets.

Say it together
“In volleyball we bump the ball up, up, up — and never let it touch the floor! Over the net to the other team, then back again.”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Blow up a balloon and play keep-it-up over a string or a row of sofa cushions. Balloons hang in the air long enough for little arms to get under them — a proper bump before school even starts.
Quick parent note
A balloon or a soft beach ball first, a volleyball later: the skill being built is the underarm bump, and slow air buys the time small arms need to find it.
