Toothbrush Flashcard for Toddlers
Ages 2–3Care time
The blue brush with the yellow stripe — the toothbrush comes out twice a day for life, which makes the toddler years the perfect time to make it a friendly, named routine.

Say it together
“Toothbrush! Time to brush the teeth — round and round, round and round. Front teeth, back teeth… spit! All clean. Sparkly smile!”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Let the toddler brush first (munching the bristles is normal), then the grown-up finishes the job — the "you, then me" handover keeps both cooperation and cleanliness. Sing the same four-line brush song every time; when the song is the timer, nobody watches the clock.
Quick parent note
Brushing is a lifetime habit installed in the bathroom of the toddler years. The word, the song and the two-step handover are what make it stick — and a teddy with his own brush doubles the enthusiasm for free.
