Towel Flashcard for Toddlers
Ages 1+Care time
The folded blue towel — the towel is the grand finale of every bath: wrapped up warm, dried head to toe and popped out the other side a clean, cozy toddler.

Say it together
“Towel! Time to get dry — wrap you up like a burrito! Rub the head… rub the toes… all dry! Cozy and warm.”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Dry in the same order every bath — head, tummy, toes — naming each part as the towel finds it: "towel dries the HEAD… towel dries the TOES." Then let the toddler dry a doll the same way. The named order teaches body parts and makes the end of bath time predictable.
Quick parent note
The towel is also the toddler’s first laundry helper: by two they can hold a corner, and by three they can spread it flat. Every routine word in this set doubles as a job, and jobs are how toddlers join the family team.
