Car, Bus, Train & Bicycle Flashcard for Preschoolers

Ages 3+Land

The four rides almost every family meets in one week: the family car, the big bus, the long train and the bicycle with its two wheels and its bell.

A transportation flashcard headed Land: a car, a bus, a train and a bicycle, each labeled.
Car, Bus, Train & BicycleCard 1 of 32 · Transportation & Vehicles

Say it together

“Car! Bus! Train! Bicycle! The car drives on the road, the bus carries lots of people, the train runs on its tracks, and the bicycle goes round and round on its wheels. Which one have YOU ridden?”

Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.

Try this

Play the ride report: "who came here today — by car? by bus? on a bike?" Then spot them live from the window and count: two cars… a bus… a bicycle! Naming the rides your child actually takes makes this the most personal card in the set.

Quick parent note

These four are the anchor vehicles of the whole transport theme — every other card is a cousin of one of them. The bicycle is also the odd-one-out talking point: it goes on the same road as the car but carries its own power (legs!).
