Cafeteria Worker Flashcard for Preschoolers
Ages 3+People who help
A cafeteria worker is the person who cooks and serves school lunch — the friendly face behind the counter who hands over the tray.

Say it together
“Cafeteria worker! Lunch is ready — tray, spoon, apple! "Apple or banana?" — I choose, and I say thank you!”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Cafeteria night at home: your child takes orders behind the counter and serves the family (real or pretend trays). Serving food is power-role play — picky eaters often taste more when they are the chef.
Quick parent note
Lunchtime is a social lesson on a tray: choosing, saying please and thank you, carrying a tray, sitting with friends. Naming the person who serves it turns the lunch line from a crowd into a face.
