Notebook Flashcard for Preschoolers
Ages 2+Classroom object
The navy notebook with the spiral edge — the notebook is where every mark, squiggle and first letter lands, one page after another.

Say it together
“Notebook! Open the notebook. A page for you, a page for me. Draw a line… draw a circle… look what the pencil did! Turn the page — more paper waits!”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Start a two-minute notebook habit: one page a day, anything your child likes — scribbles, circles, a letter they are working on. Date the corner for them. In a month, flip back to page one together and count how the marks changed.
Quick parent note
A notebook shows progress better than any poster: yesterday’s page sits right beside today’s. Keep the first one safe — the earliest pages become family treasures faster than anyone expects.
