Horse Riding Flashcard for Preschoolers
A pony, a helmet and the best seat in sport — riding is asking a large kind animal to carry you, politely, sitting very tall.

Say it together
“Horse riding is sitting on a pony and riding with gentle hands — sit tall, heels down, and hold the reins soft as holding a baby bird.”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Practise the rider’s seat on a cushion-horse: sit tall, pretend reins in soft fists, heels down, and do the rising trot — up-down, up-down — while a partner counts. Gentle hands are the whole secret; ponies listen to soft fingers.
Quick parent note
Riding is a partnership sport: the helmet is non-negotiable, the calm voice matters as much as the seat, and the pony is a teammate with opinions — which is why riders learn patience first.
