Climbing Flashcard for Preschoolers
Colourful holds up a tall wall — climbing is the thinking sport: where does the hand go next, and which foot gets you there?

Say it together
“Climbing is going UP the wall with your hands and feet — grip, reach, plan the next hold… and always, always come back down slow.”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Hallway climbing wall: tape paper "holds" at climbing heights, touch them in order — red, blue, red — without lifting the feet off the floor. Then climb the real playground ladder or wall with hands and feet planning together. Up slow, down slower.
Quick parent note
Climbing is cross-lateral thinking: right hand with left foot, planning three moves ahead. It builds grip strength, sequencing and the calm kind of bravery — and the down is as trained as the up.
