Sailing Flashcard for Preschoolers
No engine, no paddles — just a big white sail catching the wind: sailing is the sport of letting the sky do the pushing.

Say it together
“Sailing is letting the WIND push the boat! The big white sail catches the wind like a kite, and the boat slides across the water.”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Be the boat: hold a pillow or towel "sail" to your chest and walk only where a partner blows or fans you — move toward the "wind" and you stop; angle across it and you glide. That wind-angle game is real sailing thinking.
Quick parent note
Sailing teaches reading invisible things — wind you cannot see, only feel. It is science class on water, which is why sailors always end up explaining the weather.
