Comb Flashcard for Toddlers
Ages 1+Care time
The little toothed tool for tidy hair — the comb appears twice a day, every day, which makes it one of the most-practised words in the whole toddler room.

Say it together
“Comb! Time to comb your hair — gentle, gentle. My turn… now YOUR turn. Comb, comb, comb. All tidy!”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Take turns: the grown-up combs three strokes, then the toddler combs the teddy’s fur (or your hair — enormous comedy value). Handing over the comb mid-routine gives the control-hungry toddler a share of power, which is usually the difference between a battle and a giggle.
Quick parent note
Hair combing is one of the first places toddlers learn that bodies have parts and routines have steps. Offering the turn — "my comb, your comb" — is cooperation training disguised as grooming.
