PE Teacher Flashcard for Preschoolers

Ages 3+People who teach

A PE teacher is the grown-up who plans the running, jumping, balancing and ball games — the part of school where your whole body gets to work.

A School People flashcard titled PE Teacher: a PE teacher with a whistle around his neck stretches one arm up high.

Say it together

“PE teacher! Whistle — tweet! We run, we jump, we balance. Gym day is the loudest, fastest day of school!”

Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.

Try this

Animal races down the hallway: hop like a bunny, waddle like a duck, stomp like an elephant, freeze at the whistle (any word works). Real PE runs on listen-then-move — this practices exactly that.

Quick parent note

PE builds more than muscles: taking turns, waiting for a whistle, trying again after a fall. Sneakers on gym day save tears — mark the day on the calendar together.
