School Nurse Flashcard for Preschoolers
Ages 3+People who help
A school nurse is the helper who looks after children when they feel sick or get a scrape — she checks, bandages and sits with you until you feel better.

Say it together
“School nurse! If I feel yucky or scrape my knee, the nurse helps me. A cool bandage, a drink of water, a sit-down — and soon I am playing again.”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Bandage the teddy: one bandage, one worried teddy, one gentle nurse (your child). Practicing "check it, clean it, bandage it, all better" makes a real trip to the nurse feel like a known story.
Quick parent note
Tell your child the nurse is a safe grown-up for hard moments — a person who helps when you cannot be there. That sentence is a superpower on the days you are apart.
