Teacher Flashcard for Preschoolers
Ages 3+People who teach
A teacher is the grown-up who shows you new things at school — letters, numbers, songs, how to wait for a turn — and helps when something feels tricky.

Say it together
“Teacher! This is my teacher. She shows me new things and helps me try. Look how she points at the board — that is where the new stuff lives!”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Play teacher at home: your child at a chair-and-paper "board", you and three stuffed animals as the class. Practice raising a hand, listening for the claps, lining up at the door. The child in the teacher’s shoes stops worrying about the real ones.
Quick parent note
A teacher is often the first grown-up outside the family your child listens to every day. Naming the teacher by name — "Ms. Alvarez" — turns this card into a real, safe person.
