Playground Supervisor Flashcard for Preschoolers
Ages 3+People who keep us safe
A playground supervisor is the grown-up who watches over recess — keeping the games fair, the slides safe and every child seen.

Say it together
“Playground supervisor! Whistle — tweet! The games are fair, the line for the slide is moving, and everyone gets a turn. Play on!”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Playground-spotting: at any park, ask your child to find the watching grown-up first (every playground has one). Naming the watcher — at school or at the park — is the safety habit itself.
Quick parent note
Recess is the hardest curriculum of the day: sharing, waiting, big feelings. The supervisor is there so children can practice freely — and knowing who that person is makes help easy to ask for.
