Soccer Flashcard for Preschoolers
A player, a ball and a big open field — soccer is the first sport of almost every country on Earth, and the first one a four-year-old can actually play.

Say it together
“Soccer is kicking the ball with your feet — no hands allowed! You kick it to a friend, or into the big net for a goal.”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Set two chair-legs as a goal across the room and take turns kicking a soft ball through. Then add the stop: kick, run, put one foot on top of the ball — freeze it. Stopping the ball is the secret skill of every good player.
Quick parent note
Feet-first sports are the friendliest entry into ball skills: the ball is big, the kick is a motion legs already know, and missing barely matters. In New Zealand and Australia it is called football too — same game, same joy.
