Pajamas Flashcard for Toddlers
Ages 1+Sleepy time
The soft one-piece suit with the yellow zip — pajamas are the official uniform of bedtime, and putting them on is the signal every toddler’s body learns: sleep is next.

Say it together
“Pajamas! Time for your sleepy clothes. Arm in… leg in… zip! Cozy pajamas mean night-night is coming.”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Lay out the pajamas and name each part as it goes on — "arm in, leg in, zip!" — then let the toddler do the zip all by themselves (this is THE job; never do it for them). Zip control is fiddly, funny and disproportionately proud-making.
Quick parent note
The pajama word works like a countdown: clothes, then teeth, then story, then crib. Keeping the order identical nightly is what makes the card powerful — the pajamas are not clothing, they are the second hand on the bedtime clock.
