Bus Driver Flashcard for Preschoolers
Ages 3+People who keep us safe
A bus driver is the person who drives the school bus — bringing children to school in the morning and taking them home again, safe and sound.

Say it together
“Bus driver! Beep, beep! He knows every stop, every name, every bump in the road. On the bus we sit down, we hold on, we ride home!”
Say it naturally, then wait. Whatever comes back — the word, the sound, a point, a giggle — is the right answer.
Try this
Bus pretend: line up kitchen chairs, assign stops (Teddy Street, Dolly Corner) and take turns driving and riding. Practice the two bus rules that matter most: bottoms on seats, wait for the driver’s nod before standing.
Quick parent note
The bus driver is the first and last face of the school day for riders. Knowing the driver — and being known by them — is real comfort for children who ride. "Mr. Lee drives MY bus" is big-scale belonging.
